HE enjoys a bird's eye view of the scenic route of The New Paper Big Walk @ Resorts World 2011.

But on Nov 7, cable car superintendent David Tan, 56, will leave his green perch at Mount Faber and join the 18,000 participants for a close-up view of Sentosa's island life.

Said Mr Tan, who is the longest-serving employee at Singapore Cable Car: "I have been taking the cable car to Sentosa almost daily for 38 years, but I haven't walked across the Sentosa Boardwalk yet.

"The Big Walk will be a good opportunity to take in the scenic view on foot."
