'There are roads wide enough for cycle lanes'

The trio have been measuring the lane widths of some Singapore roads in a bid to improve the safety of cyclists.

While the standard lane width is 2.8m, Mr Francis Chu, Mr Yang Tah Ching and Mr Chuah Sun Soon found that some lanes are up to 4m wide.

Cabby bashed in broad daylight
