Doctors told her family that it was very likely Miss Nurhayati Sidek (above), 23, would never walk again.

That was in November 2011 after her spine was shattered and her pelvis crushed in a motorcycle accident.

A fire broke out in a Tuas factory shortly after 11pm on Tuesday night.

The fire engulfed nearly half the building, said eyewitnesses who saw flames shoot up to nearly three storeys high.
