When The New Paper published a report headlined “It’s all about the workers” on May 2 featuring three workers from three separate May Day events, online sites started circulating it with the headline “S’pore workers on why they took part in protest”.

The tuition centre's founder is described on its website as having an MBBS in (child psychology) from the National University of Singapore (NUS). The centre also boasts a teacher who is stated on its website as having an "MBBS" in mathematics.
