Leave the corridor clutter free

She hangs her clothes to dry in the corridor outside her five-room executive flat at Block 150, Mei Ling Street, in Queenstown, while her 82-year-old father takes a nap on a foldable chair nearby.

But her neighbours, who get along well with the father and daughter, say they have no problems with that.

Still, they could be breaking the law, say town councils.


Let the old man takes his nap
But, keeps your laundry indoor, for god sake!

With HDB flats getting smaller and not properly designed to let in natural wind circulation, it gets rather hot indoors. Esp., those upgrading units with all those lifts blocking the air flows.

Needlesstosay, every unit is on the aircon or make good use of this corridor to cool down

I am actually quite surprised to see such a big common area. This could be a fault in the original space design (architect?)
