A businessman (above, left) was fined $3,000 on Thursday (June 21) for voluntarily causing hurt to another man near a nasi lemak stall in Tanjong Katong in 2009.

His lawyer said his client was a victim too, while the businessman, Ong Long Hock, 64, told Shin Min Daily News that he lost five teeth in the fight and has spent $20,000 on dental treatment.

Ong had punched and fractured 32-year-old Lee Tze Wei's jaw while his son helped pin Lee to the ground.
