Worker flung to death in crash

An Indian foreign worker died on the spot after being flung out of a lorry in an accident yesterday morning.

Two lorries had collided at Tanah Merah Coast Road (above) at about 6am, also injuring the other 25 men who were sent to Changi General Hospital with a range of injuries.

In another accident, a lorry and a car collided at West Coast Highway (beloq) at about 11am, badly damaging the car.

The woman car driver survived the crash and was seen crying under a tree at the scene, while two men in the lorry suffered lacerations.
