A*Star Science Award extended to polys

When it comes to opportunities with A*Star, polytechnic students will now get the same chances as their peers in junior colleges and secondary schools.

The national science and research and development agency is now extending its A*Star Science Award to all five polytechnics as well, in a bid to widen its R&D pool and Singapore’s pipeline of local PhD talent.

The Award was previously given only to junior college and upper secondary school students who showed strong aptitude and interest in science and mathematics.
