FIRST, the bad news.

Centre-back Baihakki Khaizan, one of the LionsXII's stand-out players so far this season, has been ruled out of the game against Terengganu tomorrow with a partial tear in the patellar ligament of his right knee.

The 27-year-old was ordered by the doctor to rest for seven to 10 days.

But it could have been worse, the towering player conceded.

"It's actually way better than I thought because my major knee ligaments are safe, although there's some swelling in the right knee due to a build-up of fluid there," said Baihakki, who added it was the first knee injury in his career.

Baihakki Khaizan injures does not mean a bad news for LIONSII but it is the time to give a new player replaced for him to proof that he can have a same standard as a defensive roll tonight.
