She was alighting from the bus at a bus stop along Victoria Street when it allegedly moved off and the doors slammed against her back.

Madam Yeo Imm Hock, 84, was flung onto the ground, causing her right hip bone to be badly fractured.

She said that the bus continued on its way despite shouts from people at the bus stop.

After the incident on March 4, the previously independent, fit and mobile woman had to undergo a hip replacement operation and will be spending the next three to four weeks at a community hospital.

Don't tell me that the driver is again a foreign worker!
