Mr Ye Hong Quan PICTURE: LIANHE WANBAO
He called himself the “god of gamblers” and claimed he could teach “sure-win” baccarat techniques.
But instead of winning, the students he taught lost at the gaming tables.
More than 40 people who believed Mr Ye Hong Quan paid him close to $15,000 each in workshop fees.

He added that he has gone to the Criminal Investigation Department to "clarify matters and also to the Small Claims Tribunal, but so far nothing’s happened".
