When she first saw her stolen car, there was not a single sign of emotion. But when the media moved away, leaving her alone, she broke down.
The relief and happiness was clear in Singaporean Rita Zahara (above, with Johor police chief Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff), whose car had been hijacked and driven away with her family in it last Sunday in Johor Baru (JB). Her family was later found safe in a town in JB.
Yesterday, the Johor police said they had arrested three suspects and recovered the car, a white Nissan Sunny.
The former television journalist tells The New Paper on Sunday: “I didn’t expect to see any of my things again.
She also says she still has to deal with the emotional trauma that her family is facing.
