MediaCorp actor Terence Cao, 44, is embroiled in yet another monetary dispute, this time over a failed business venture.
Mr Cao’s Restoran Selayang – a chain of roasted meat food outlets that he opened in 2009 with fellow MediaCorp actor Zhang Yaodong and MediaCorp stunt coordinator Kong Xiang De – had folded in end-2010.
Now, the company that had supplied frozen chicken, pork and duck meat to the chain claims it has not been paid for several months' worth of meat.
Earlier this month, Mr Cao was in the news over a separate payment dispute with a renovation contractor.
But the actor told TNP that Restoran Selayang had released a statement explaining that it did not do well and had lost money. He said creditors should seek legal means to settle differences.
