Actresses' kiss sparks outcry

A kiss between actresses Vivian Lai (right) and Kate Pang at the Star Awards Show 2 on Sunday has created controversy.

Some approve and say it is not a big deal while others are vocal in their disapproval.

The Media Development Authority has said that it will be investigating the incident to see if its content guidelines for free-to-air TV programmes have been breached.

A spokesman for MediaCorp said the kissing shot will be deleted from this Sunday’s repeat telecast of the awards ceremony.
