But the combined youth team of J-League side Albirex Niigata, who were in Singapore on a training tour last week, claimed the scalps of two S-League teams.
Despite playing a match each day for four days, the 20 youngsters – whose ages range from 15 to 18 – showed no signs of fatigue, banging in a total of 17 goals and conceding just three.
