Mr Chia Wai Chon, 70, operations manager for the Singapore Plumbing Society, feels too few Singaporeans are qualified plumbers.

So he decided to hold a music competition to promote the image of the profession.

He even wrote two songs, one of which has got the attention of the Asia Pacific representative of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.
