Angry viewer slashed my tyres

Fame can be a double-edged sword.

Just ask Taiwanese actress-host Rene Hou (above), a familiar face in Hokkien television soap operas, who often plays the villain.

She told The New Paper that all four of her car tyres were slashed, presumably by an angry viewer.

And the owner of a noodle stall refused to sell her food because he was so angry with her on-screen character.
