Hougang coach Nenad Bacina (above) has voiced his interest in becoming Singapore's head coach for the 2013 SEA Games team.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has yet to name the coach for next year's competition in Myanmar, though former national skipper Aide Iskandar is the favourite to lead the team.

While Aide has been coy about his position, Bacina, 41, has become the second to publicly declare his interest in the job. Fandi Ahmad, in an interview with The New Paper in August, had also stated that he is keen.

The FAS has a shortlist of candidates, but has not indicated when it will announce the appointment.
