Bali holiday turns sour for couple

A HOLIDAY in Bali would seem like a relaxing dream holiday for most people.

However, a young couple ended up with a nightmare on their hands as they lost around $15,000 worth of their belongings as their room was burgled while they slept.

But the pair, who declined to be named, suspect that the welcome drinks they received on their arrival might have been spiked, wondering if it was an inside job - an allegation which has been dismissed by a manager of the villa involved.
