Bank manager nabs snatch thief

Mr Chan Cheng Mun, a centre manager with the OCBC Bank branch at AMK Hub, took “customer service” to a new level when he caught a suspected snatch thief.

The suspect, a 37-year-old man, snatched $200 from a cabby who was there to put the money in a cash deposit machine.

Mr Chan, who saw the suspect running away, gave chase, then grabbed him and held onto him.

The suspect will be charged in court today.
