A mountain biker was injured attempting a stunt jump in a forested area near Zhenghua Park yesterday morning.

The injured man, 39, had gone riding there with four of his friends and was wearing a helmet at the time of his fall.

One of the friends, Mr Kaiser Nahwi, 35, a musician, who knew the man as “Boy”, told The New Paper that the man was doing stunts over the slopes while he and the other friends watched, until the horrific moment.

Said Mr Kaiser: “He hit his head on the ground, and I ran over to him.

“But I saw there was a hole in his forehead, and blood was gushing out from the hole.

“I was very scared."
