Battle of the beancurd

A YEAR and a half ago, Lao Ban Soya Beancurd stall opened at the Old Airport Road Food Centre.

The beancurd from this stall is chilled and has an incredibly smooth and creamy texture.

It's so popular, people are willing to queue for an hour to get a taste of it.

Demand is so hot, other hawkers decided to jump on the bandwagon. In the past five months, six beancurd stalls have sprouted up in the food centre.
