Blood spilled over potted plants

There was oil, blood and broken glass along the corridor and on the grass patch outside the two units at the Commonwealth Crescent block.

Two neighbours, one in his 60s and the other in his 50s, had gotten into a fight - over potted plants.

The older man, alleged the other had tried to damage his plants by sprinkling salt over them. Police said two men were arrested for affray, while one of them was sent with injuries to Alexandra Hospital.
