Cancer didn't stop him from graduating

HE was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer just before his O-level examinations.
Doctors gave him a 50 per cent chance of survival.

But Isaac Quek pressed on. He went through several sessions of intensive chemotherapy and lost almost 10kg in the process, but managed to complete his O-levels.

Now, 5 years on, he will be graduating from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Business Studies.
