Christy Chung and her husband, music producer, Jon Yen, were caught in the midst of a media storm this week after Chung's online updates made it seem like her marriage is on the rocks.
But is it?
Chung, 40, updated her Weibo account (the Chinese version of Twitter) on May 15, saying: "The worst thing in this world is to love someone so much and know that he'll never feel the same way."
Just two hours later, she sent another update: "Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who do not."
Was she discussing the state of her marriage with Yen, who has been rumoured to be dating girls around town?
Taiwanese media reported that Yen had gone to Taipei without his family on May 12, and toured the city with another woman. He also posted a picture of himself hugging the woman in front of Taipei 101 on his Weibo, wearing matching caps.
But Yen posted another photo earlier this week, showing him with singer David Wong and the same woman, who was identified as Vicky. Taiwan media later identified Vicky as Wong's manager cum girlfriend.
Asked to comment on the situation while in Singapore at the recent Audi Fashion Festival 2011, Chung told reporters: "My kids are okay and both me and my husband are very busy. Thanks for your concern, but let's not talk about my marriage."
As for her Weibo updates, Chung said that people had been too "sensitive" on the matter. "Those are my views on relationships. That was me replying to a friend and giving her suggestions," she told local website xinmsn.com
