Class? She'd rather have a Chance encounter

Student Nur Syaza Sabrina, 15, skipped her classes after taking her two-hour Home Economics exam yesterday.

The reason? A chance to hang out and take rides with her idol, singer Greyson Chance, at Universal Studios Singapore (USS).

The CHIJ Toa Payoh student received the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after her classmate, who originally won the opportunity to hang out with Chance, could not convince her parents to let her go.

Syaza had the approval of her dad, who even took time off work to drive her to and from USS.

Chance, 14, was also "very proud" of her decision, calling it "awesome".
