To coach, with love

HE WAS an ex-national women's basketball coach who died on Wednesday afternoon.

To many of his ex-students, however, Mr Lou Wei Sent was more than a coach to them - he was a father figure whom they will keep alive in their memories.

When The New Paper arrived at the wake at Chai Chee Road where he lived, more than 10 of his female ex-students of various ages could be seen bustling around.

They were all there for a common purpose: To celebrate teachers' day-even in death-with their beloved teacher and coach.
