Dad wins, so she gets to attend NDP

Wee Jing Wen will be attending her first National Day Parade (NDP) this year. The 10-year-old daughter of Mr Wee Keng Hor helped her father clinch a pair of tickets to the parade by posing for his winning photo in the Big Picture contest.

For the theme “We, the Citizens”, Mr Wee, 45, shot his daughter saluting at the flypast during the NDP rehearsal to capture what the National Pledge meant to him.

The Big Picture is a year-long contest organised by The New Paper and the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts to encourage Singaporeans to document their city through photographs.
