Spain will be rubbing their hands in glee after watching this game.

After all, they will be facing a clueless and porous France in the quarter-finals, if this morning’s (Singapore time) performance against Sweden was anything to go by, says our analyst Ray Houghton.
The French were utterly disappointing as their 2-0 defeat, with their defence in shambles and their attack lacking bite.

They will need to toughen up and revert to their high-tempo, passing game that tends to bring the best out of them, to stand a chance against the Euro 2008 champions.
