Dog comment: NUS disciplinary board to decide on scholar's fate

March 14, 2012 - 12:49am

The Chinese scholar who created a furore when he posted on his Weibo account that there were “more dogs than humans in Singapore” will know his fate in one to two weeks’ time.

Mr Sun Xu, 25, a National University of Singapore final-year mechanical engineering student and a Ministry of Education scholar, appeared before an NUS disciplinary board yesterday.

When a decision is reached, he will have up to 14 days to appeal.

If Mr Sun appeals, it will be considered by the disciplinary appeals board. The appeals board’s decision is final.

Sent him back to China!!!!
