JUST before Daniel Craig turned up for interviews at The Dorchester hotel in London, a pair of British journalists were discussing the actor in the hotel lobby.

"He is being bloody difficult again," said one, in a huff.

I got excited.

It would be lovely to see an actor in his full-blown egomaniacal state.

But it didn't happen.

Instead, it was a laid-back, pleasant, charismatic but professionally distant Craig.
