Drunk driver hits 3 cars in Jurong

There was barely any space between the two cars parked side by side in the carpark at Jurong West Street 41.

But the driver of a Lexus SUV tried to squeeze his vehicle in between the two cars while trying to park. He ended up hitting both cars

And when he tried to leave the carpark, he hit a third car, a black BMW, causing the licence plate to fall off.

The man was later arrested by the police for drink-driving after failing a breathalyser test.

Seems too many cases of drunk driving' last 6 months alone 1880 were nabbed. For everyone caught i believev10 got away. One life lost is too many.

The authorities must come down very hard. A jail term, pay for all the damages and community service will be good.

Ban from driving long enough to lose driving license & confiscate the vehicle. That'll hurt.
