Ex-Manhunt finalist gets his big TV break

Former Manhunt finalist Shane Pow was involved in an accident last year, just as he was about to get his big TV break.

The 21-year-old, who was almost hit by a taxi, jammed his brakes, and his bike skidded, causing him to injure his left ankle.

While he was on MC for 5 months, he got the call offering him a role. He promptly sold off his motorcycle because it was too risky to risk hurting his face.

Pow will make his major debut in the new Channel 8 year-end blockbuster drama It Takes Two, which premieres in November.
