Former Aljunied GRC Member of Parliament Wan Hussin Zoohri’s son, Mr Wan Imran Haji Wan Hussin, died of a heart attack on Sunday evening.

The 37-year-old manager at an insurance firm had earlier shown signs of being unwell while playing football with friends at Yusof Ishak Secondary School.

He asked a friend to take him home, but lost consciousness on the way.

Singapore Civil Defence Force officers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and used an automated external defibrillator on Mr Wan Imran, before taking him to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he died.
