Ex-SMRT CEO's back...on blogging train

She all but disappeared from the public eye after she stepped down as SMRT's Chief Executive Officer in January, following the series of MRT breakdowns and disruptions last year.

But Ms Saw Phaik Hwa is now hoping to share her story through a personal website.

She wrote in a post dated March 11 that she intends to use the online platform to talk about how SMRT has changed since the disruptions, what the company was like then, what it is today and "what the future holds for both of us”.

Public relations experts The New Paper spoke to were divided on how beneficial the website would be to Ms Saw and to SMRT.
