A building at the National University of Singapore caught fire on Friday (Aug 10), and according to a resident nearby, the smoke was so thick "that you couldn’t see the top of the building".
Another resident said that a friend working near the affected building said there were "exploding sounds".
No one was killed, but four people were taken to hospital, and it took firefighters almost five hours to put out the fire.
