"OH, I have missed the train!"

That howl will surely resonate with its greatest impact on June 30 at 10.31pm when the night mail pulls out of Tanjong Pagar for the final time.

The sun is setting on the old shoe of a building, built in 1932 to house Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), or Malayan Railway as we know it from British colonial times.

Ahead of the demise of the Singapore sector of KTM, The New Paper hopped on board for a last picture show.
