With the S-League entering the business end of the season, and the LionsXII preparing for an assault on the Malaysia Cup, The New Paper met up with Football Association of Singapore president Zainudin Nordin to talk football.
The Singapore football chief spoke about how he has no problems accepting responsibilities for the national team's poor performance in the international arena in the past two years, but says that long-term plans are in place to rectify these low points.
He also called reviving the flagging S-League as "the biggest challenge on my plate", but insists that the local league's perceived failings have to be assessed with perspective.
