FIFA's top dogs are kicking the blame around in the aftermath of the decision to ban two top officials.

Suspended vice-president Jack Warner accused Fifa president Sepp Blatter (left) of an unauthorised transfer of US$1 million ($1.24 million) to his confederation Concaf and made gifts of computers to officials.

Jerome Valcke, the secretary general of the sport's governing body, who accused the suspended AFC president Mohamed Hammam of "buying" the 2022 world cup, said that he "never understood" why the Qatari wanted to run for president.

In a press conference early this morning, Blatter admitted the ongoing saga has done "great damage" to Fifa's image.
