WHEN you take 17 years to reach to the top, it's rightly so that you don’t take fame for granted.

In a recent interview in Hong Kong, TVB actor Ruco Chan told The New Paper: "It actually got to a point when I wondered if I was really suitable for this (showbiz).

"I couldn't help wondering why the breaks came more easily for other colleagues than me."

But the turning point for the suave man came last year with the sleeper hit, The Other Truth.

Chan, who turns 35 next Saturday, admitted: "It was totally unexpected, maybe it’s because I had more screen time."
