She joined YMCA when she was 24. This year, after 15 years with the organisation, she was terminated from her post - suddenly, she says.
Ms Jacqueline Tan (above, with children from a Cambodian orphanage) was the Lifestyle Programmes Manager at YMCA.
On March 1, she was issued a warning letter. On April 27, she was given the choice to resign or be terminated.
Ms Tan feels she was unfairly dismissed, but YMCA's general secretary Albert Ching said that due process has been followed and "we stand by our decision".
