Former footballer stays positive despite paralysis

Former national and Woodlands Wellington footballer S Anthonysamy suffered paralysis from his shoulders down during a football match against Selangor in 1996.

But 16 years of life in a wheelchair with no hand movements has hardly brought the 47-year-old down.

Cared for by his devoted wife Keralin, Anthony relies on prayer and daily mass at his neighbourhood church for inspiration.
