Four more plan to plead guilty in underage sex case

Of the 48 men charged in April with having sex with an underage prostitute, only one has pleaded guilty and has been dealt with so far.

But four other accused have, through counsel, indicated that they plan to plead guilty when their cases come up in court.

They are Singaporeans Chiang Meng Chuan, Louis Lee Lip Kian, Pyi Kyaw Han (above) and Indonesian Wilson Oei.

Another 13 are expected to claim trial in a case so extensive that at least 10 prosecutors are involved.

If you look at it from a different angle, you might say that the law protects women/ or girls, because in this case, the only winner is the underage (at that time) girl, who not only got off scot free, but earn quite a substantial sum in the process.

In fact, by the look of it, she is probably still in the same business, except now she would be above 18??

Law is never about fairness, you might say?

It is about protecting the weak!!
