These are no ordinary Singapore gardens.

One, at Sunset Heights at Clementi, is 7,800 sq ft and has more than 400 varieties of plants.

The other, at Bukit Timah, has some 200 forest trees as well as vertical and rooftop gardens surrounding the living compound.

Both have won titles in local gardening competitions and they attract visitors from overseas every year.

The two home owners, Madam Irene Ngoo, 57, and Dr Easaw Thomas, share more about their remarkable gardens.
