Mr Mohammed Zulfadhli (above) was heading to work last Sunday when he heard a loud crash near the junction of Boon Keng Road and Kallang Junction. The window behind him suddenly shattered.
The 23-year old massage chair technician, who had been sitting on the back row of the upper deck of SBS service 21, then noticed that he was covered in shards of glass and blood.
The flying glass had cut him above his left eye and had also sliced his hands.
The accident occurred when a gas cylinder left in a lorry parked nearby had flown through the air and smashed into the bus. It is not known exactly why. The company involved, whose premises the lorry had been parked at, is investigating.
Two passengers were injured.
