A screengrab from German TV show Galileo shows Singaporeans having their temperatures taken before being allowed to enter a building, a practice described as "crazy" by the show's reporter Matthias Fiedler.
A German show looking at some of the "crazy" things that Singaporeans do has caused some controversy here.
According to German Matthias Fiedler, a reporter for the programme, Galileo, we have to take our temperatures before going into stores, we spend a fortune on laser light shows to send our loved ones on to the afterlife, and believe in chasing after ghosts.
When The New Paper asked Germans living in Singapore what kind of a show Galileo was in Germany, they said that it was a lifestyle show and wasn't to be taken seriously.
The New Paper also contact Mr Fiedler to get his take on the programme.
