Geylang United chairman announces retirement

FORMER national team manager Patrick Ang has announced his retirement as chairman of Geylang United, a post he has held since 1997.

He will be replaced by former Singapore skipper and midfielder Leong Kok Fann.

Ang said in a statement yesterday: "I am privileged to have served as president and chairman of Geylang International and Geylang United respectively and I am proud of our club's record in both the S-League and its predecessor league, the FAS Premier League."
