Handcuffed and dressed in an orange prison uniform, the pale-looking woman bowed thrice before the coffin.

She then walked around it and returned to bow another three times. Then she sobbed.

The occasion was the wake of Mr Koh Teck Huat, held in Johor Baru on Wednesday afternoon.

The Singaporean was shot dead at the carpark of a condominium in Johor Baru on Monday night.

The long-haired woman who was paying her respects at his wake was his girlfriend.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was detained by Malaysian police on Monday night when substances, believed to be drugs, were found in the apartment she shared with Mr Koh.
