Good start, but Ukraine’s defence is suspect

It's the stuff that dreams are made of, says our analyst Ray Houghton.

Ukraine, taking part in their first European Championship, couldn't have asked for a better start after they beat Sweden 2-1 this morning (Singapore time).

The co-hosts of Euro 2012 could have capitulated under the immense pressure, but under the leadership of captain Andriy Shevchenko, the Ukrainians fought back to a deserved victory.

But that said, the men in yellow look suspect in defence - an aspect that could prove costly to their chances in the tournament.
