Grateful to be alive

Mr Tay Guan Yeow and his wife, Madam Chua Mui Mui made news last month when they fulfilled their wish of having their wedding photographs taken in the hospital, even as Mr Tay lay gravely ill at National University Hospital.

The good news is that he has been discharged from hospital.

But that is tinged with sadness, as although he is better, he is still suffering from a serious illness.

Mr Tay has told his wife that she should find someone else after he's gone and adds that each day with her is "bliss".
